Savills has appointed Antonio Díaz as its new director of Industrial and Logistics for Andalusia. Díaz joins from Fenext, where he served as director of Asset & Property Management. He will lead the development of the logistics sector in the region from Savills’ Seville office, coordinating with local and national teams.
Díaz brings a wealth of experience in asset management, capital markets, investment analysis, due diligence, and real estate strategy. He holds a civil engineering degree from the University of Córdoba, an MBA, and the Programa Avanzado de Gestión de Activos Inmobiliarios from IE Business School.
Savills states that Díaz’s appointment aligns with their goal of strengthening their position in a market characterized by strong demand, high investor interest, and the development of new logistics hubs. Antonio Montero, Executive Director of Industrial & Logistics at Savills Spain, highlights Díaz’s “full understanding of the business, combining investment expertise, asset management, and business development experience in a region key for Spain’s logistics growth.”
This move reflects a broader trend within Savills Spain, which has recently expanded its leadership team with the appointments of Mamen Fernández as Commercial Executive Director and Pablo Romaní as Executive Director of Business and Strategic Consulting.

Andalusia’s Logistics Boom
Díaz’s arrival coincides with a boom in Andalusia’s logistics sector. Established hubs like Seville and Málaga are thriving, while emerging nodes such as Antequera, Campo de Gibraltar, Huelva, Cádiz, and Jaén are gaining prominence.
José Félix Pérez-Peña, Executive Director of Savills Andalusia, emphasizes the region’s strengths, citing strong demand, strategic location, and the rise of new activity centers as creating “a unique opportunity to support users, developers, and investors in their growth plans.”
Savills’ recent appointment of Diana Fernández Tienda as Privatization Director further shows the company’s commitment to expanding its service offerings. Fernández Tienda, an architect with a PDG Master’s degree from IESE, will lead the firm’s transversal privatization area, guiding clients through the process.
Market Performance and Outlook
The logistics sector in Andalusia is experiencing significant growth. In the first half of 2026, over one million square meters of logistics space were leased, with investment reaching approximately €780 million. If forecasts hold, a year-end investment exceeding €1.5 billion would make it the strongest year for the sector since 2021.
